2010 Angullong Bulls Roar Tempranillo

2011 Orange Wine Show: Impresstik Judges Encourage Award

"From the Crossing family's Orange vineyard, this zingy red is bright crimson and has toffee apple scents. Spiced mulberry shows on the front of the palate, and rhubarb, spearmint and savoury oak characters combine on the middle palate. Flinty tannins hold sway at the finish. Buy from angullong.com.au or at the historic bluestone cellar door at the village of Millthorpe, on the outskirts of Orange."

GOLD MEDAL - National Cool Climate Wine Show 2011

"From the slopes of Mount Canobolas, Angullong is a winery that has a good understanding of aromatic wines. This complex wine displays floral aromas of pear, apple, lychee and rose petals. Flavour-wise, it’s full of stone fruit, ripe pear, lemon and spice. Extended time on its lees has given the wine a textural feel along with a chalky grip and a nice line of lemon-flavoured acid. Some pithy citrus notes on the finish have good intensity and add a bit of character."

Ben Thomas, The Weekly Review, October 2011

Purchase:  Bottle: $22.00
